Excellent track, this is the kind of techno that keeps mixes flowing.
Mixing like keys, doms, and subdoms with tracks like these can lead to some phenomenal blends.
This is definitely a style you’re mastering, you leave room in the openings to blend, and they’re long enough to transition out of.
I was kind of disappointed, totally anticipating Kendra’s vocals to surface, maybe something to consider for a follow-up remix :)

I’m afraid you lost me once again. :) What does “mixing like keys, doms, and subdoms” mean?

Well, leaving room at beginning and end is far the easiest duty. Think that is something everybody should be able to do. :)

Was not able to use it in a nicely blending way. But I did accept the challenge. I’m still not 100% satisfied with the result. It’s still rap being mixed with techno. But I love the new drop. (And once again I used a hiss as a high hat. Love doing that. :) Will upload it after lunch.

Key clarification: all tracks are in a key, and if you mix another track in the same key it’s as if it’s the same track.
At the same time, each key has a dominant and sub-dominant key that will blend properly, and you can transition from key to key get to one that wouldn’t blend with the first one otherwise.
It’s boring music theory stuff that makes more sense after you try it :)
I learned about it following DJ Prince, who is in the same league as Larry Levan and Ron Hardy (imo).

Very cool techno, flows nicely.
So, is that first sound other than the beats and bass derived from the Tha Crash vocal?

Thanks! What do you mein with „first sound“? From the vocal I‘m using only a downpitched „the rumble“ and „the tumble“. Did use More at the beginning but that sounded to random.

Yeah, I think that’s the sound I was referring to. Cool. Good stuff.
