Your questions suggests, that the mix is not done on beat. :P I’m using Mixxx. Mixxx supports all that nice stuff like beat detection, beat adjustment, pitch-independent time-stretch and such. The “problem” with your song is, that is is at 136bpm while Here Comes The Snow is at 120. I think pitching 16 bpms is a little bit to much, so I decided to take a little break.

Yes that is the old problem with music ofcourse, didnt think about the differences in speed like that. Pitching with 16bpm would rip out the soul of one of the tracks or both. Good that you kept them the way they are. :)
