I like this. It’s laid back, restrained, elegant. Very nice.
I’m imagining a slightly extended version that uses the “hey” part as a refrain and also has a solo of some kind (a few notes played on a piano?) - I think it would pull the pieces together. This is a great idea though. |

This is a great idea though. Thanks a lot! It was made with a quite different approach from my other mixes, mashing up some old audio files I had laying around with duckett’s tracks. Almost like remixing :) I started on the track way beyond bed time and decided I would sit till I had something to upload. After some tweaking (matching the tempo, changing the pitch and add some fx) I was in bed by 4 pm. It’s pathetic, but may also explain the rather short version. Cheers, |

A little short, but love the funkiness, love the “soundscape-y stuff”, and how you managed to to incorporate my babbling and crooning into the midst of it all… What can I say but “Takk, fin produksjon!” ;-)

Thanks for the nice comment and for sharing you excellent babbling. You got a lot more uploaded and I’m looking forward to find more inspiring stuff to mash up with my own small pieces. This track was a little experiment for me and I’m glad you liked my baby step into the world of ambience. And yes - your Norwegian got me curious :) |
