This is absolutely lovely.

I wasn’t completely sure at first, because the open hihat sort of dominates the track in the intro - but the guitar play is terrific and matches the vocals really really well.

Also - once the drums really hit the track really finds the sweet spot.

Lovely work. It would be well worth re-recording the guitar as a separate track and uploading - I’m sure you would get a few takers to do something with it.

That is true. I am aware that this track will not pass for a release candidate as there’s still a lot of mastering to be done. I uploaded it mainly to get some feedback because I know I never get to finishing things on my own — After all the work had been rotting on a friend’s storage for quite some time and I would have completely forgotten about it had he not reminded me of its existence.

I’m seriously considering that. Thanks for your thumbs up.

I really like the way you treat the vocal with such respect.

Would have liked a solo of some kind in the instrumental section - and maybe that hihat is a little dominant - but great work!

Gorgeous guitar, and the rhythmic treatment works nicely, though some of the percussion sync seems almost a tiny hair off in spots (but never mind the nit-picking, still a wonderful remix!)

Jazzy, chill, relaxing bossa-nova… great
These vocals were remixed tons of times since they were up (#2 in all-time stats) but this is still outstanding.
I’d just make some adjustements to the arrangement. For example, the main beats could enter sooner (so it does not feel like there is a 2 minute intro).
