Thank you, unreal. I’ve been tinkering around with the banjo lately… It’s been put away for far too long…

Another fun listen. Ants are fascinating, talk about perseverance…every once in a while an ant colony will decide it’s time to relocate. The funny thing is that they don’t all agree, so the way they settle it is that some start moving their ‘stuff’ and the ones that don’t want it moved move the stuff back! Eventually one side gives up and all the stuff is either moved or in the same place. No fighting about it, no war, just…ok, how bad do you want it…lol

Thanks for listening and commenting, Jeris! Love your fun facts about ants… Just the kind of story a pacifist like me can appreciate. :)

Kara - I love your interpretation! You put a really big smile on face today.
Thanks for the time and energy spent to make this quizzical offering come to new life. The banjo too - an inspired touch!!!

Wonderful! Thank you! Listening through your rich catalog of music was a joy… Singing all of these interesting words was yet another joy! The lil’ banjo has a been neglected for tooooo long… it seemed to want to march along like our ant-friends. I’m glad you liked.

Excellent rendition of Anchor’s song. The additional instruments gave a musical textualization of playful whimsy that was perfect for humor in the lyrics. Enjoyed this immensely. Great job!

Why thank you, Oberon! “Playful whimsy” is exactly what I was going for… glad to hear it came across. Thank you for your kindness.

We were talking about regimented insects at dinner tonight.

You crazy, girl! ‘:0)

Nicely done here Kara. The banjo is a fav instrument of mine to listen to and I like the well placed parts. One thing about ants that they are relentless lol and they are not allowed in my studio, especially in the spring :)

Both you and Anchor bring a strong sense of storytelling and visualization (and humor) to your work; lots to like in such a musical partnering!

This is brilliant Kara! The recording of your vocals is so clear and has some nice reverb effects.

Thanks a lot, Deb! I used a hint of reverb on all the vox and delay in various spots. I’ve been enjoying “riding the fader” with delay lately.

Well, shoot- you’re so kind, Mana! Though, I must query- How does this work when I’m a strict agnostic who doesn’t believe in a deity? Yet, I believe in myself… Soooo… Hmmmm… :D (There I go again, taking things literally…)

Awww… as do I! I must admit I felt a little ping of jealousy when I heard the super-fun collab “Give Stuff Away” (of course, all the while flattered that my lil’ backup additions were used and sung with). Thanks for listening, SackJo. At least we get to have these amazing musical connections from afar, eh? :D
