Expertly executed and beautifully produced. I like the arrangement, the lead up is an effective intro to the delightful piano and string work which compliments the vocals in a major way . Bit short though ;-(

Lovely, Sir. Thanks for the lengthy warning in the notes (deletion/disguise of expletive duly noted :-) ). Of course, you realize it was completely unnecessary, but if it makes you feel better :-)…

Losing some instruments may not be a bad thing for you (it’ll just feel like s**t). It’s nice to hear you on the piano :-). And nobody ever grew much by spending their life in the womb.

Welcome back Lasswell. That avatar was a sight for some very bleary eyes this morning.

Losing some tools of trade is always heartbeaking.
Its almost like losing a dear friend or looking down to discover that your wooden leg is infested with termites.
What this mix loses in length is well and truly made up by the pro sound and deft arrangement.
Very nice to have you back also and I look forward to some future Lasswell moments.

Crappy mix? Your real magic lies in the string and piano harmonies and how they elevate each other. There are some very special things going on in there.

The fact that track happens to be very well produced is just a bonus. :)

Welcome back.

Funny, i was just listening to or should i say studying a few of your mixes a few days ago.
What a treat to hear something new from you. I’m really sorry to hear about you Mac problems.
Good luck getting some of that software back.

The new mix sounds great but i have to say it’s a bit to short, but like everyone else here, a little bit of Lasswell is better than no Laswell.
Thanks for the treat.

Hey, thanks to all!

I probably should have held off a bit and worked more on it. I feel that I should have upped the tempo just a tad since it drags a bit. Some of the strings have some modulation anomalies as well but I just wanted to get something up.

I feel for you in the loss of your working environment, but I’m even more glad you’re already seeing the longer term opportunity hidden in the short term problem. But your talent and skill clearly didn’t take any damage! It’s such a treat to hear a new piece from you. And this indulgence isn’t even bad for the waist line!

That’s it? AAARRGGGHH! You evil, talented man you! Even with such a snippet (yes, I said snippet!)of music, it’s a great example of the gorgeousness of which you are capable. I’m so looking forward to the version that you feel you’ve finished to your satisfaction!
