Mr. Sockhead - welcome to cc.mixter…many thanks for the creative use of my vox sample. A great surreal offering - theatrical with a sense of haunted existential memories……………!

Utterly fantastic mix, Mr. Sockhead (love the avatar, btw, it’ll give the term “nit pick” a whole new meaning around here :-) ). No nit picks here. You have captured something very bizzarely captivating.
I listened to Anchor’s pell before hearing your mix and I loved it, especially when he went off script, which I think is just fantastic. Your music is so familiar with it’s rock and roll feel but then it is also so twisted. It is a comment on the peculiarities of nostalgia, which in many ways is the point of my poem. It seems that our lives are composed of moments rather than long episodes. The moment of hearing this mix for the first time will be one that will stick in my mind for quite some time, and leave a big bright smile on my face. Thanks for this Johnny, and welcome to ccMixter. |

Very nice Mr Sockhead, your stage you set in your notes is perfect. I can just see the guys up there on stage. really like the lazy, rambling? (in a good way) feel of this. The guitar brings that lovely Mazzy Star late night, drunk, stumbling and twirling with someone close. Thanks and welcome from me also.

Spooky neo-surf music with a disturbed air of something really terrible just about to happen around the corner- Love it. Terrifying and enthralling. It’s cool to hear Anchor’s voice in a different, more poppy arrangement too.
