Very nice. Thanks for hearing something worthwhile in those samples. I can hear the something Wes Anderson-like in your mix (I think your plucked strings are a big part of that). Nicely done and much appreciated.

Thanks! The plucked strings remind me of fish swimming by.
I built the mix on loops cut from your source tracks. Then I hit the doldrums…and I went back to read your description and found out that they were matched with unreal’s source. From there it was pretty smooth sailing. To me the different eq’s on the final stage of the mix made it more movie like, as if you were listening to the mix over the ship’s intercom system or radio. Glad you liked it. |
