Beautifull song and you did that in 1 hour? If so my complements your mix sounds really clear for just one hour work.

Is it possible to upload the stems?

Didn’t noticed that untill mentioned it. Ah well leaves more room for stereo delay and reverb

What type of stereo setup would you have preferred?

Well for a one hour beat it all sounds fine too me. Maybe it would be possible to duplicate the vocal and pan one hard right and one hard left. Separate both a few milliseconds to get a wider sound. And/or use a big stereo delay.

Maybe in the future as a training I’ll have go with this vocal and try to make it bigger.

yeah that’s one option, however it creates a false stereo image and if you are not right in front of the speakers or on phones, things tend to get really wierd… haha. good ol’ phase cancellation.

I thought I’d keep the mono vox for that old school feel haha

I’ve done this a few times with stereo vocals not completly panned left and right without getting phase cancellation. Why is that then, because the are stereo?

And I would keep it mono also

hey man! actually I would have loved to have the ahhs (3or for tracks) panned about the stereo field to add a nice pad to the vocal layer… but i think

then 2 hi leads to be panned out a bit from center while the lo lead would stay dead center. I think it would sound great..

I might have dropped more bgv tracks on it myself if i could have gotten a good vocal bus going.

but hey! it’s not done yet, shoot me an email with the dry tracks and I would love you forever!

I like it. Cool smoove groove. Some retro vibes going on as well.
