bluegrass in da city, THAT’S what i’m talkin’ ‘bout. great fun & recklessness about this. (and from those harmonies, i think we may share some DNA. we gotta talk!)
thanks, man.

Certainly glad you liked it, that’s one great voice you’ve got- the pella put me in mind of a mixture of Croce/Taylor/Cale/Betts/Withers, and wanted some bluegrass and downtown energy to go with it…
I do have family down south, by the way ;-)

Thanks YJ- I was shooting for that kind of a feel, I’d pictured some bar or club where the audience really get into it… not that I’d want to incite a riot or anything ;-)

very nicely done man. it’s got a relaxed beck meets buffett kind of feel to it. it’s so funny to hear the admiral bob mandolin and lead guitar tracks sped up like that. i swear it made me think you were doing like 160 bpm. :)

Thanks MCJITB- yeah, I pictured admiralbob being exhausted after this gig ;-)

Thanks! The weird thing is, after listening to the rendered file, I thought to myself “I bet RT will like this one.”…

Another great example of your ability to bring conflicting rhythmic structures together into sync. Very cool. Love the panning on the guitars too. Neat stuff.

Are the ducks flying south? I think they are :-).

Thanks… What y’all mean by that? ;-)
This drake’s currently stuck in New England, but certainly loves a bowl of grits as much as a bowl of chowder… thanks for listening.

Thanks- I tend to go in many directions soundwise, so it’s nice to know people don’t mind wandering with me down the random path ;-)
