Very interesting. I’m still trying to get my head around the ambient music concept. I like the way you did this. It’s definitely helps me get a sense of what Sack & Gurd are looking for, I think! Well done, Sirrah!

To clarify, remixes using my spoken word should be in any style that the mixter is inspired to create in (and this may indeed include ambient music). We are specifically looking for ambient treatments of Gurdonark’s samples. Hope that helps your head!

Oh! I was under the impression that this particular style was somewhat near the center of this particular project. I can do anything, huh? Hmmmm…that bit of info opens me up a bit. It’s funny; I was listening to your poem & I kept hearing Reggae (inna Dub Stylee) in my head. Thanks, SackJo22…:)

That would be awesome! The point is to highlight the diversity of the ccMixter community. The common thread throughout will be a) my spoken word and b) the ambient treatments of Gurdonark’s samples.

Very beautifully done, Jay. I felt as if I were looking up at a vast sky of icy stars whilst listening to SJ beside me. xxxx

J, I don’t know what it is but a good chilled out ambient piece like this is so good at portraying emotion. There is something about this piece that makes it almost feel suspenseful. I really enjoy this. well done sir!!
