The thing I value most of all in remix culture is the way that sampled ideas can be transformed into new visions. We’ve all watched with awe at great mixes which have arisen from the calendargirl project, and in particular at the “fit” between IMT and Calendargirl’s work that arises in the February piece.

Faced with this really cool set of tracks, it might have been tempting to just make minor tweaks and changes.

Instead, you re-imagine the piece into something that is original and not cut from a cookie-cutter idea of mixing.

A gloriously good mix. of course, you know already it’s the found sound and field recordings, as well as the hints of ambience, that really sell it for me.

A fitting tribute to IMT and Calendargirl, and yet this has Ditto Ditto stamped in its DNA.

Outstanding! I didn’t want it to end. You have a gifted ear sir, and I love your work. Keep up the good work!

Yes. the secret mixter is a good chance to dive deeper into the incredibly great music at ccmixter. This is a great and rich mix. I especially like the beginning part, how the mix is really starting to breathe. The mid part reminds me of the group `White Noise`, then it changes into a dance-track. Really nice work! Time for me to check more ditto ditto and some IMT :)

Listening to your remixes is always a nice trip through space and sound. A nice development along the track and the last part really kicks! That is great and enjoyable work!
