I’m astounded, Deb. Our poems are so similar I assumed you’d written yours in response to mine - until I searched back for your original After the Weekend.
And you’ve woven them together beautifully, as if the two protagonists are having their own conversations in their heads as they do in your poem. It’s a kind of collaboration I didn’t know about until it was over! |

LOL, yes as soon as I heard yours (for the first time I might add) I thought how similar they were! I hope you like it. I didn’t have time to hunt around for a backing track so I used a piece by Soda that I like, but that I used for my video poem ‘The Search’ (on the Memory: Video Poetry DVD

Yes, yes, yes… This is a massively winning concept that should continue to be explored. This piece is a perfect example. The panning of both voices is very effective.
