Our poems are so similar I assumed you’d written yours in response to mine - until I searched back for your original After the Weekend. And you’ve woven them together beautifully, as if the two protagonists are having their own conversations in their heads as they do in your poem. It’s a kind of collaboration I didn’t know about until it was over!
