I quite like it, but I’m missing some kind of big but short climax after the middle/before the end. I would totally dig some wild e-guitar solo, Ommadawn-Oldfield-style. Am I making any sense?!

guitar solos are cool, yeah, but im really just a bassist messing around with a guitar not sure if i could pull that off

That comment was more or less aimed at everybody around here; it’s a remix site, so perhaps somebody with the required guitar skills sees this and thinks “Hey, I can do that!” and will make a “Remix”; so it doesn’t necessarily have to be you. :-)

driving yet bleak (in a good way)
My only personal nitpick- the kick/snare bit seems to suddenly stand up and shout, “HEY! OVER HERE!”, then drop from sonic sight again. this review in no way represents the views of ccmixter, its parent planet, or anyone else blah blah blah… |
