Yes - really good song and an own voice! I dig the the lyrics also!
Well for sprucing I would tame the background voice with an EG to clean the mids a bit (esp. in their louder parts) and bring it a bit more to the background (Predelays).
In short: Like your song very much and I am keen for futher ones and updates!
