So you were able to use Melodyne DNA on the c.layne harmonies? Most excellent!

Yes to an extent. He sung them in a major key and this is in minor. It didn’t pick them all out but it did get the thirds!. I also created a lot of harmonies from the single voice. DNA works better on piano and guitar from my experiences so far.

DNA may also get thrown off by track resident mixed in FX? And if I recall correctly (I did a c.layne remix quite a long time ago), he has a ton of FX on his vocal tracks. Great collection of songs by c.layne though! Last year I tried the Melodyne beta with a mixed harmony track by our good ccM friend Anchor. But it was pretty much FX free and Melodyne DNA tracked his three parts rather well.

Quite lovely — with an intoxicating, dreamy atmosphere. Thanks so much for including me; it’s always a treat to find myself in your musical world.

You have so many fine pieces here SJ but I find this my personal favorite. My mom stopped by when I was just about finished with this. I was doing some editing to your spoken word and she was mesmerized by your voice. she asked me who was speaking and I replied, that’s Sackjo22 lol. She wanted to know where she could purchase your music :)

That’s so cool! Thanks for sharing that with me! Your mom must rock! And I’m sure you told her she can download anything from ccM for free! (And I am working on a release…it’s coming along slowly, but coming along!)

Thanks Per. All the credit goes to the fine artists I used. The last 2 remixes you did were stuck in my mind and definitely had some influence here:)

That’s a very ncie compliment. In return, a few of the reviews of those two songs, including yours, gave me a few ideas for coming mixes.

Nice 60’s psychedelia with a modern touch very atmospheric.

Thanks DM.I was watching 60’s vids on youtube just before I did this. Kicks was a great vid by Paul Revere. I find them go-go dancers compeling lol
Norm Peterson put the finishing touches on with freaky synth.

I pretty much like anything with c.layne parts by default, but this is really good. A rich tapestry of sounds, and Untethered really is such a haunting and poignant piece.

Yes, this works very good. Quite a lot good remixes with Susan’s spoken word piece. I am glad that mine was withheld due to some technical difficulties. I too have melodyne editor, but haven’t really used it on anything polyphonic. Anyway, great tune!

As UD said this is very psychodelic with this keyboards from the 60’s. Susan’s voice at the last part was a really nice move! I really like this!

Totally digging this offering. Everything works wonderfully (love that bass). It’s one of those that I turn off the critical mind after a short while and just enjoy.

Sorry I’m late, but I’ve been away.

This is fantastic. Absolutely terrific soundscape. Really like what you’ve created here - everything fits so nicely.

Great, great work.
