I like that guitar line, as well as the way that the percussion is insistent and not muddy at all.
The melody fits the rap very well. The mood of the piece is driving and insistent, appropriate to the lyric. The spare arrangement suits this piece well. |

LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT!
It reminds me of when Nelly and Tim McGraw collaborated a few months ago. It has this country/ hip hop mix to it. When I listen to music that doesn’t have a video I make up one in my mind. For this I’m thinking of a black and white video on a ranch with handsome cowboys riding bucking broncos and bulls mixed with the hip hop lady and her dancers and a chain gang bounding their hammers into the ground. Like a Wrangler commercial meets a Missy Elliot music video! |
