Great mix Anchor, I mean really great :-). Loved every minute and element of it, and of course the lyrics which goes without saying but maybe someone out there lives in a cave and doesn’t know how well you write.

This track had great development (rare), and the intelligent whimsy and subversiveness that only you can deliver. If we dreamers needed an anthem, this might just fit the bill. Thanks Anchor :-).

Hi Anchor, congratulations to your new hit single. Because this is so catchy and accessible without for a second losing that special Anchor trademark or the artistic value always present in your work.
Great dynamic sound and mix. The choirs are wonderful/beautiful, the melody, the chords, just about everyting. This is probably not Gnostic lounge music at all, but isn’t there a relation? A distant uptempo cousin, perhaps? (Or is it just my desire to be able to use that expresson Gnostic lounge again?)

Per - its definitely kin to “Gnostic Lounge” ! Maybe it is “Kabbalistic Pop”? Thank you for for the comments offered too!

terrific mix. typical left field brilliance in the arrangement, and your vocals are great here, as well as all the harmony stuff. very unique and executed very, very well.

MCJB! - I appreciate your thoughts…those harmonies, I think, scared a few people who live near by me during the recording!
Cheers,
A.M.

How many people can ride in this divine Merkaba? Exemplary creativity. I recently noted in a comment somewheree that one of the things I value most about you, Anchor, is your unfettered commitment to your vision. I feel like I know you a bit better after listening. Thank you!

p.s. Love the space choir — it’s totally fab!

Dear S -
Thanks for the thoughtful communication! As for passenger capacity of a Merkaba….? I am hoping that none us us will be left behind.

Seems like some of your recent work has moved more into the mainstream yet still retaining that special quality that makes an AM mix stand out.

Great blend of sounds with the vox so a to Dok for that as well

Merci RT-
I am not sure about mainstream however - unless the general population’s tastes have changed radically to include scruffy voiced baritones and enigmatic tomes based on arcane occult ideas…
Thanks for the thumb too!

That’s a nice full mix. Fast, not furious. I like the subject matter and, well, the whole package, very cohesive, upfull and bright.

Fun and bouncing with energy. Love the classic Anchor long vocal holds around the chorus section. The mix itself is so 80’s but so darn good.

By the way, the row your boat bridge section is so very refreshing.
