really liked your sample selection and matching. the instruments you added worked quite well too, especially the subtle build up of the piano followed by the sax.

It took me a few listens to get into this one because I had another mindset when I did the first version that I had to liberate myself from. Your mix kicked in with me at 3:rd listen and I now like it very very much. For me it’s a suitable soundtrack to a melancholic Pedro Almodovar movie and that’s a compliment. Thanks for letting me be part of it.

Thanks, hey I know that name now (Pedro Almodovar) learned it from a previous comment : )

Yeah I know, it’s my standard reference for melancholy/acoustic guitar mixes.

Start with “Talk to her” if you haven’t seen it. It’s a true top flic and the soundtrack is stunningly beautiful.

This imparts a sort of nerve-settling melancholy even as it entices me to listen closely.

Wow!
Thanks for using my part! (the guitar is too loud in my opinion).
Great work!

Thanks, it was a great part, everything was built around it without touching your sample. I just uploaded a new mix. I added a little more ambient reverb and faded your part in and out throughout to add some dynamics.

excellent musicianship & production on this. wnm’s guitar part sounds like it was written for the track.
very, very nice.

You accentuated the melancholy inherant in this pell — it is sad and moody and beautiful. Bravo!

This is just gorgeous, Jeris. It’s right up my street. Your backing track is very classily emotional and is a great sound bed for Per’s voice, which is full of feeling and musicality. Really lovely. xxxx

PS I would recommend but I share a router with Panu and he gets in first all the time. Doh!

Thanks Ciggi, I was just listening to insatiable…I think it’s my favorite collaboration of ours so far.
