Beautiful… heart-wrenching… poignant. The tragedies taking place in Gaza are so horrifying that I keep dissociating from them… Writing a protest song is certainly a more dignified response. Sadly, your words can easily apply to so many situations currently and seemingly endlessly. Excellent songwriting.

Thank you for getting out of this what made me upload it.
The mix came about as a result of reading Kiplings lines that were quoted in Karl Miller’s Dark Horses. The vocal was a one take originally using Javolenus’mix that had included the Admirals Rhodes piano. I decided to replace the file with a more stripped down backing track but ended up having to delete the original upload as the CCM system would not accept the new file and kept reverting back to the first upload. |

A thoughtful and beautiful attempt to deal with this subject musically and as Kara says artistically open-ended enough to apply to so many tragic situations.
