Very nice. Diggin’ the chill vibe.
I didn’t know milkweed was the only food source for the Monarch. We had a small patch (fifty sq ft) of a milkweed/mint mix, but the mint won out.

Thanks. Yeah. Mint can be invasive. One of the good things about milkweed though, is if given the chance, it can also grow like a weed. :)

i love how duckett leads us in vocally with the “hey” and you join him in duet. his spoken word with your ethereal melodies is magic. the chilled-down groove woven with the horns (such cool placement in stereo-field) transports me under the trees next to your glass art near your windchimes swaying in the breeze. thank you for this sonic rest in the garden.

Ahhh… this mix feels so good. Such an alluring invitation to our dear Monarch friends… You and duckett sound wonderful together. Lovely all around.

Thank you. And thank you for a new word — “mellage” — yes. Mellage indeed. :p

Very good, indeed! Monster groove and great merge of vocals. And that sax break is off the charts.

Thank you. Yes! I imagine growing flowers for the butterflies will work in southern Europe too!

Persistent relaxed groove for a weary traveler… a tired seeker urged on by a voice like Calypso.

So relaxed and lush, your mix takes me to my garden, where I can walk the pathways with my eyes closed, and where I’ve found my way home.

The only way I can describe this is… therapeutic. Sometimes, timing is everything, and I’m really grateful for a little garden rest: …I was conscious only of my happiness as a butterfly, unaware that I was Duckett. Soon I awakened, and there I was, veritably myself again. Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a man.

;)

Therapeutic — yes! I’m so glad you enjoyed this music. Your source material is wonderful, vast. I love the quality of your voice too. Reminds me very much of Josh Haden of Spain — a band we listened to on repeat for a while. Thank you for all you’ve shared with us here at ccMixter.
