Wonderfully nostalgic, Susan.
Follow the bouncing ball, call the popular music backing vocal preservation society and move over Mitch Miller. Your sing along absolutely nails the backing vocal arrangement technique of the past.
In the words of Steve Allen satirizing Lawrence Welk, “Wunnerful, wunnerful!”

Wow! What a delightful surprise to see you so delighted you. Thanks so much for the ed pick.

This was one of those songs that sang itself. I just picked up the mic and hit record.

Merry merry to you and yours.

Just when I thought I had opened all of my presents I find this wonderful gift!

Some marvellous vocal additions that take the song to another level and reiterate what I originally was going for in that the human voice in all its forms has the power to change anything. You just need to get the words in the right order!!

Many thanks Susan for the remix and to you and all my fellow mixters a Happy and Peaceful New Year.

Thank you so much for sharing this delightful song. The chorus is great!

I have a sing-along bus story too that involves a bedraggled homeless man, a young couple making out, a gangster checking me out, and a rousing chorus of “This Land is Your Land.” Our urban corridor lined with highrises and filled with commuter traffic was not nearly as bucolic a setting as your Welsh countryside.

I’m so glad you enjoyed the remix. Thank you for the invitation to sing along.

Merry merry to you and yours and a very happy new year.

Congratulations to all for your reward.

When I composed the musical and rhythmic base, I hoped that it would be reworked by other members.

The magic of CC Mixter happened.

In the first stage, Mister radioontheshelf posed his beautiful voice, and his beautiful text, I shuddered, so it was sincere and beautiful.

In second phase, Our sackjo22, all in delicacy and in reserve, added its superb vocal hearts, adding indeed an additional dimension, common work congratulated by texasradiofish.

It’s so beautiful…

we can only say bavo and congratulations for this sharing of love and sounds, and for this collaboration.

Happy New Year everyone

Thank you for the beautiful music you so generously share with us.

Thank you for such kind words.

I agree with you — this song is the magic of ccMixter. It is one of those things that happens when we just get out of our own way and listen.

I hope you and yours have a peaceful and inspired new year.

Thanks Kara. Although I can’t take credit. The base by Bluemillenium and Radiontheshelf were already spot on. The rest essentially popped out fully formed.

I hope the new year brings clarity and lots more goosebumps!
