The mix seems to be ok.
I just think that there is a problem on the chorus, your piano doesnt match with the vocal… Wrong scale (cant be more clear in english, sorry ;))
Everything else sounds good, the beat is great.

Thanks for the message. When you say the piano on the chorus is the wrong scale, do you mean the wrong pitch? Meaning it is too high or too low? (I’m not talking about volume.)
Once again, thanks for the message and kind words.

I mean voccal with piano sound weird together during the chorus, generaly singers sing on a melody but when it’s a remix we have to build a melody that feet the way the track is sung, that barely happens with rap, just with songs.
Perhaps it’s just me who have this feeling so you should ask someone else to be sure.
Hope you’ll understand my bad english… ;)

I understand your English completly. Your English is very good! I know what you mean now. I’ll ask others to listen and tell me what they think. Thanks for pointing it out though as i didn’t notice. :)

I just listened to this song after not hearing it for a while and i’m not impressed! I know exactly what the member above was saying now.
A little pointer for people… If you listen to something over and over again, it could end up sounding good after a while. That isn’t because it is good, but because you’ve got used to it!

It allways happen to me… This is why I like place like CC where people can tell you if there is something wrong with your track.

I also use to let a day or 2 before mixing y tracks, this way I have a better look at it.

you have the vocals on time perfect… The verses sound awesome too me… :) the hook is really off key and allthough I am not the best singer or even a good singer I sound really bad in the key that you have set. Actually I sound bad in ANY key you set.. hahaha… good mix though… stay up… Sol

Wow, Sol, you think you sound bad? I love the vocals on this track!
I’ve got to be honest though, i’ve never actually changed the key of a song or sample i’ve used. So far i’ve only been using sampled loops - copywrite and royalty free, of course, but now i’m starting to write my own samples and preset patches.
Sol, (or anybody else) do you have any advice as to what key to change the hook to? Or is it just experimenting to find a nice match?
Looks like i’m going to be searching the net for a while learning about musical ‘Key’.
Many thanks for the heads-up. (and sorry for the long reply.)

hahaha.. just read your reply.. no man you did a good job at mixin… I just sing off key no matter what it is… That is why I tried to use the auto tune on this song. I am not the one to tell you what key i am in cause I dont thnk that key even exists… lol… Keep doing what you feel… I dig the track… Stay up..

Just noticed your other reply after not being on CC for a while. Thanks for the reply. There was some words in there that inspired me to carry on. I wanted to reply to this message though to say that i didn’t do anything to the vocals apart from line up the start of the track. So the perfect timing is down to you guys :)
