This is fantastic. As in really great, not as in unbelievable. It’s that same tone of thoughtful reflection and smart writing that I hear in John Prine. Very relatable, very effective.

Your lyrics really pierced me — a story flashing before my eyes as I listen. The realities we face, with still a hope for “a silent night and a guiding star.” Your vocal performance is strong yet gentle. This needs to become part of all future Christmas playlists.
