Today’s word of the day - piquant: agreeably stimulating, interesting, or attractive - also: having a lively arch charm

Cool, hearing that puts a big smile on my face. Love that alternating soundscape.

Well, this is a blast. Highly enjoyable… and extremely creative! As a vocalist, it’s sometimes hard to hear one’s vox pitch shifted… BUT! in this case, it’s fun and well done! I, too, am a fan of strangeness… this is my kind of song. Thank you. (p.s. I’m sorry I’m just commenting now… didn’t receive a notification email.)

Thank you very much for your lovely review, and tolerance of the pitch shift!
I loved the vocals, even though I did change them around a bit and was hoping to still keep the spirit of them.

Wow, i know very well this song, but your arrangement is incredible! Sound like a new track, a totally different track. The cuts and pitching in the “i’m okay, you’re okay, we’re okay” part are amazing. Really creative, sound so weird and pleasant! Congrats for your great work

Aww thank you so much!

Kara has an amazing voice, by pitching her voice up and down by only a few semitones I got several different emotions. I used strong confident chords and weak vulnerable chords against her voice to tell a slightly different, happy, version of her song.

Yes loads of odd chords.

Main section: A# E Gdim G#7 C#m G#m6 Amaj7 G#m7

Ending: E B G#m C#7sus4 D#sus4 Bmaj

I use a great little program called “Nut Chords” for my chords and an iPad application “Suggester” to work out the chord sequences.

wow, that program “nut chords” is extremely useful! sometimes i need use a chord i don’t know, and i need always to discover it “mathematically” :D (or searching it on the net) thanks a lot!

yes that chord progression is very weird to me, but sounds good :)
