I like the impromptu feel. Loose and emotive.

I think it is great to be able to multi-track and add and remove at will but I have always felt the need to record ‘live’ even before I truly know the track. I think it may suffer in production value but it certainly makes up ground in raw emotion :) Thank you for the very kind words.
Cheers!

great sensitive, jazzy accompaniment. a good choice of songs to feature ciggi’s voice so ‘up close & personal’.

I actually ‘uncompressed’ the vocals for that reason. I wanted every ounce of Ciggi unique beauty to shine and with pipes and emotive value like that I wanted it loud and proud :) Thanks for your work here. I always find it more than inspirational!
Cheers!

Oh this is very, very good. You’ve created a lovely, spacey, regretful atmosphere and I love the fact you’ve made it into a duet. Your ideas are very original and special. Thank you for choosing one of mine.

I finally mixed one of yours! I think your work is fantastic so I really wanted to do one well. Do you use a compressor on your vocals before posting them? I think you have such an expressive voice that I would love to here all the nuance I can. Either way, keep up the great work and I can’t wait to hear what will come out next :)
Cheers!

What lovely feedback to read. Thank you very much, KF! I have to confess that my ‘other half’, Panu, deals with the recording side of things. He says he puts a light compression on my vocals. I used to record myself when I lived in the UK but you only have to listen to older songs (such as ‘You’) to hear what a terrible mess I made of it. Anyway, I’m looking forward to having a listen to more of your uploads too.
