Used to play this with a soprano sax player who really weaved magic around the chords.

Actually, I haven’t sung in ages and my voice is still a bit fragile — need to build up some strength. Also, I recorded this (and all the other stuff) hunched on a wonky old stool with two condenser mics in my face!

I really like the idea of trying to capture spontaneity in recording and so I never really plan it or rehearse it. I just press “record” and let in happen.

I’m not a great technical musician, I’m just trying to create a vibe, atmosphere or “feel”.

I think you bring both, skill and spontenety. The vibe and feel of it makes for some good sample and composition source material. Now need to find some sax parts!
