Well driven, the music and spoken word reinforce one another. This is no easy task, as one misstep can neutralize either or both. In this case, the edgy robo-rock creates an effacing, dystopian context from which our heroine Kara Square emerges — defiantly, righteously. In this scenario, it is not the corporate abuse of power against which she rallies, but the individual complacency which makes it possible. This track demands a video, but only one of equal strength — and one which matches your arpeggios with rapid cuts.

Thanks, yea, and buying power is an important vote that many people tend to forget in the western world. I found it befitting to couple that statement with one of the best bass sounds I have ever churned out, I think. A bit of glitch, and a weak aftertouch of vocoded Kara choir in the background - seemed a match to me. Cheers! |

And now that you said a video should be made, then I made one. I’m no video expert, but here we are: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fs6O3O-zT3o |

Whoa. This is an awesome remix. Love it. Honestly, Apoxode’s review thoroughly states why it’s so well done. It’s funny… I write these things, record them, and often forget as I move to the next project… remixes like yours give the words new life! Thank you for this.

Oh shoot! Looks like the video was removed now… I watched a minute of it earlier, but had to deal with some pressing matters & didn’t get to comment. Sorry about that!

The old links doesn’t work anymore, there was a cropping error in that video, but I’ve edited the links in here with the new one. |

Gotcha! Very cool. Hypnotic.
Would you horribly mind changing the featured artist name to ‘Kara Square’ for the YT title? Thank you kindly!! |
