Sounds good man, always enjoy your chill ambience

Thanks Jeris. Listening to this on the site I think that it lost something sonically when I converted to MP3. I may need to re-visit the mix to try and compensate for the aural loss.

you do have the technique after all. really like the guitar, very fragile and atmospheric.

.
Thank you. I’ve become very fond of those stems.

this is so super cool. your guitar work is elegantly freeing, surrounded with the whirring and sensual rhythm. i’m in a swaying, deepening trance. the change dives deeper. very nicely done Haskel. what software did you use?

This is actually the first time I used the free pro-tools that came with my M-Audio purchase. I think I finally figured out the basics.

Nice. The guitars are wonderful, and just a terrific match for the sources you picked.

I’m glad you listened and commented. There was a lot of good source material to work with. I liked the poly metric stuff that happened.

This track tells a story, and invites a story to be told. Beautiful work — your guitars…well, you know how I feel about your guitars. Bravo!

Not always a good idea to flatter guitar players - we may end up overplaying. Thanks for the encouragement.

I like the focus of the second half very much. And yes, admittedly, that is a thinly veiled way of saying I didn’t like the first half so much, but I’m glad I stayed. And on second listen I like it more, it’s really just that one loud repeated sound that detracts (the one that sounds like an electronic butterfly lifting off) from what your guitar is saying. And that’s all subjective anyway, just how I heard it. Beautiful playing by the way, any chance of getting that guitar stem uploaded?
|
.
I totally appreciate your critique. I’m kinda married to the first part setting up the second part, but you have a good point about the levels. Tweeking may be in order.

Stems - the engine that drives cc mixter. And I was lucky that annabloom uploaded so many stems. I’ll get to it soon. Thanks. |

Your guitar work is incredible… just gorgeous. The details in this really reel in the listener… The transition from part 1 to 2 is quite fun. I like this a lot.

Thank you for the comments. If you think the transition worked on some level, I’m very pleased.

Really liked the title, made me want to listen to the track.
It’s heady, jazzy, relaxing…distant, experimental, and street. The future of birdfish is a mystery unfolding…a cliffhanger waiting for the sequel. |

Well annabloom had some avian creatures in the mix - or maybe it was a bee - not to mention the water. As you can probably tell, I liked his stem of the dripping water. Great percussion part. The future of birdfish is a mystery unfolding It may be. |
