Thanks, debbizo :) Didn’t turn out quite the way I wanted it, but I believe I made a valiant salvage effort. This was composed on my other computer which started freezing up. Quickly transferred to the newer one which was fresh out of the shop.

First- I love this. I’m pretty sure it’s my favorite piece that I’ve heard of yours. I tend to listen to your songs a handful of times before I can comment… (I guess that’s just a fun fact). Your music very different from what I’m used to hearing… and I love that. I think we’ve discussed taking risks before… I love how you do that. So I guess I’m full of love for this, but I can’t pinpoint anything specific to say. So here’s one of these:

Thank you so much, MMT :) This song barely got through. I had the entire thing finished on my other computer, but it started crashing on me. I was in the process of finalizing the mix and *BAM* a multitude of amazing artifacts present themselves. I sent that damaged mix to my “just out of the shop computer”, and did damage control.
I was going to post stems, but they are just gone :( However, the primitive electronic drums I’d previously posted as, “Korg Rhythm 55B” remain.

Thanks again,
FB

Ahhh yesss… I thought those drums sounded familiar. Love that Korg. (More love, yet.) I’m really sorry to hear about the computer problems… my bandmate was doing a recovery on his computer just this morning… part of me doesn’t want to call and find out how it went…

I hope your mate’s recovery went well. I did a destructive recovery on the computer I’m on now. Lost everything, and to no avail. Wish I’d had just taken it in without going to extremes.

Hey- thanks. So do I. Your last sentence sounds like a metaphor in disguise. Or not in disguise. Or not a metaphor at all. :)

No metaphor in disguise….. My, you’re a smart one ;) Just responding off the top of my head.

Hahahaha…… Plato and I go way back, but if he were to hear this song in his day……… oh my. Pythagoras might be a better one to let listen. He did have a keen interest in music.

Ha .. according to my dusty copy of B Russels “History Of Western Philosophy” the first rule of the Pythagorean order was “To abstain from beans” … got to be a song in there some where

Hahahaha….. I have that one too. He was a genius but a Kook (Pythagoras) . I never got the bean thing. Burtrand Russell presented that in a very humorous way. Great book all ‘round. One of my favs.
I’ve thought of writing a song of Pythagoras’ odd religion before. It’s on the back-burner.

An adventure in sound. Enjoyed the trip.
btw - I have already done something with that drum machine sample, turned out nothing like what I was thinking of but I like it a lot. I’ll upload it in a week or two.

Thank you so much Speck :) Glad you found a use for the drum machine sample. You may fire at will. Secret Mixter songs will be pouring in tomorrow. I’ll be looking for yours.
