Completely unrelated to this piece, but I and a couple of friends from my time as a student at the astronomy department of Leiden University have almost launched Professor Oort into space while we were messing around with a revolving door which the dear professor was trying to use to get into the department building. Well, maybe it isn’t as unrelated to this piece as I thought at first. Cool stuff.
