This is so OFF THE CHAIN!!! The Dawg is loose and all is right wit’ the underworld! The flutes, the geetarz, the groove — AARRGGHH!!! I am so in love with this mix! Doghouse, this little ditty is undeniable. First off, you have accomplished to make the vocals “sit” in the mix where it feels like the whole band was tracked live. The ambience of the instruments fit perfectly.
Second- GREAT drum sounds! I loe the smack of the snare. Not tooooo crazy about the piano sound..it screams “midi” to me (I hope that I didn’t give you indigestion with that comment) so I’d love to hear a richer acoustic piano sound. Also, great job on the B sections. The chord progression is very inventive, almost epic- sounding. Rage on :) |
