Welcome to ccMixter!

This poem is deeply moving, and brought me to tears multiple times. I can feel your heart bursting into its “thousand small pieces…” — and now mine is too. I’m so sorry about this deep loss of your Spirit Tree.

Your voice is emotive, airy, beautiful.

I like (and can relate to) this more than a simple click on recommend. Our town recently murdered a hundred year old Weeping Beech. No one seemed to care.

Unless you were being metaphorical (there are no metaphorical sturdy trees in my skyline) in which case - also very good.

And yes, welcome. Looking forward to hearing more.
