Oh, Ciggi, oh Ciggi. Honestly, this is the most beautiful piece of music I’ve heard in a long long time. The simplicity, the way you sing the beautiful lyric, the reverb on your voice…you’ve captured that celtic mood. A deep bow from a man with a tear in his eye. I hawk and say Ed pick!

.
Per, how lovely of you. Many, many thanks. Actually, I can hear Kim singing this. What do you think? xxxx

Oh! You literally took my breath away and brought tears to my eye with your clear, penetrating, haunting, exquisite voice and how perfectly you sang to Panu’s ridiculously delicious guitar. So beautiful it hurts me. That does not happen very often.

this is something misty & ancient. pure & beautiful to be listened to by one searching soul at a time. the lyric & vocal are unmistakedly C. Burns, and for me that’s the best thing of all.

I could say you’re making me blush, Mr Moon, but in fact I’m just grinning with pleasure. What does it feel like to be an inspiration? xxxx

So nice and laid bare Cig. A real treat just hearing you and Panu stripped down to just an old guitar and a wistful voice.
|
.
Better than an old voice and a wistful guitar. Thank you, Scombers. Sweet words from an even sweeter Aussie. xxxx

One of your very best, in the opinion of this (totally unbiased) reviewer. Lovely guitar from Mr Moon, too.

With Panu and me naked? At least he’d have his guitar. Thanks for the thought, LS. Hmmm… Thanks for the picture in my head! xxxx

a lesson in how to focus on the essential. It serves the song and not the vanity. I love this song, which has dropped all Balast this time. Sensitive guitar playing in quiet conversation with a voice that has something to say. Yes, I love this song …warmly Jürgen

.
Jurgen, how lovely that you have picked up on the conversation between singer and guitar. My feelings exactly. Thank you. xxxx

Can only say: Wow! Soooo beautiful!
Seemingly simple but needs a lot of sensibility to create that unique atmosphere. Goosebumps, yes. |

Dear Ciggi, dear Mark,
this has jumped to my top 10 all time favorite songs (overall) directly after I have heard it. Usually I would not try to remix something with such a beauty. But I gave it a try - I let the seed grow one year and made myself many thoughts about this song. The more I have listened to it the more I noticed the pride in Ciggi’s vocals. And for me I decided that this is the hymn for the broken hearts. I have tried to keep the ghost of this beauty alive. I hope you can regret my remix… Hugs and kisses Key |
