Hi AJ i think whilst what you have put up is commendable, the form its in is not very practical.

Its nice to hear you chat at the start but if want mixers to work easily with your vocal and attempt a backing tracking then you need to deliver it here in a way that it can be quickly produced.

Principally in tempo and pitch.

So to move forward and for the future sing it to a click track or a metronome. Even if i could hear the metronome quietly in the back ground it wouldnt matter but that would help line this up and keep you in a tempo as at the moment timing wise its changing and free flow. Better still if can record in stereo and put the metronome on the one side and your vocal on the other then that would work.

Secondly pitch. I Have tried about 5 different keys and i still cant work out where you are. That might be me but i suspect without the music you are just feeling it and singing.

So even if you just start with a single chord on a guitar or keyboard even something `in tune’ off the site here you would be on the same page and at a starting point.

And after all that if you just want a song to sing mail me, i have few knocking around you could do. :-)

You obviously have a great deal of natural talent and make a powerful sound.

Its not that you need a lot of work but understanding the `remix process’ simply means that the work that you do and upload can be used easily by as many people as possible.

The mixing ability of the people here varies greatly so the more information you can give and preparation in your uploads will mean the greater and wider success of your acapellas.

So keep working on this stuff and your vocals as you have real potential.:-)

Is there like tips on what to do and how to record for best outcome and most usage. Most stuff I sing to a beat I get from other sites, will start listening the bmp, but is there other stuff I should be doing? I would love to be able to upload more usable pellas.
Thanks aJ

I was inspired by this vocal, and the request to remix, and created my version. Now the original is posted I am glad I didn’t listen to that first, it may have tainted my thinking :) I Thank AJ for the inspiration, it is exactly what I look for in CCMixter.
