A veteran of the New York music scene, Chancius honed his live performance skills busking in the NYC subway system. Fans of his music began to recognize him on the street as the musician with the striking vocals and memorable song lyrics.

The newest release from Chancius, ‘Bando’ is an indie rock/dream pop concept album with a sci-fi twist. Envisioned as an alternative rock opera, the album tells the story of Bando, a young man afflicted with a life-threatening disease. In an attempt to save himself, he volunteers for an untested procedure to prolong his life past death. As his story unfolds, the ramifications of blending humanity with technology are brought to life in sound.

The single and video off the album ‘A Piece of You Wherever I Go’ was named the “Hidden Alt-Pop Gem of The Year” by I Shit Music while Weekend Notes said, “The beautiful craftsmanship has produced a well-thought out and contemplative album. If you love a good story, Bando is an experimental quest to the recesses of New Wave bliss.”
