Samples I Used

An original piece I created called "The Yearling Doe Nearby"
and Porchcat's spoken word sample.

Process

"The Yearling Doe Stands by" was created using the music notation program Anvil Studio, which is freeware available from www.anvilstudio.com. I wrote a simple melodic song using this software, and had the song played back by the goblins fx MIDI voice. I then recorded the resulting track into my studio software, after which I enhanced the sound by using a flanger within the studio and a "time tunnel" delay effect. I then added Porchcat's track as a spoken word accompaniment, applying reverb to it to give it greater resonance.

Other Notes

I usually like to sample many mixters in each piece, but decided, after experimentation, that less is more here.
