Samples I Used
Drone sample from ccMixter, obviously. Piano, drum, "unusual nature" sample and vocal FX from remixfight.org. "Generator" sample and opening vocal sample from versionist.com. The only other samples AFAIK are the drums overlayed over the breakbeat loop, and those are from my sample collection. Oh yeah, and there's the didge sample which was from educational website.
Original Samples
I didn't really, it's all external samples with reverb and delay and EQing and all that.
Process
Looped the drums, wave-travellered 'em up a little, took the first note of the piano sample from remixfight and wrote a new little melody for it. Added the drone sample in the background, added a huge delay on the main vocals and then ran a bandpass filter on that which I manipulated manually through the whole song.
