Process
I started by giving a listen to the guitar samples and the original bassline to get the melodies and key. From that point I created the synth basslines. I did some processing using ACID on the vocals and guitar samples. I combined what I had at that point in Fruity Loops, completed new drum loops and mastered the song.
Other Notes
I was just wandering around looking for some royalty free samples and became distracted by artists who encourage (to one degree or another) others to remix their work. I found Brad Sucks. Borderline was my first Brad Sucks remix. Quite fun!
