This is my first outing using Ableton Live, which afforded a much greater control over the vocal track. Almost all of the vocal edits were done by hand, but a few were done with dblue's wonderful free Glitch VST. This VST was used to tweak the breakbeat as well, although many of the edits there are also by hand.
I used Reason sparingly throughout, for the piano loop and the bass loop only.
Samples I Used
AMT vocals and lead, ERH's police scanner clip and the breakbeat is "125_crispy-funkbeat" from Sampleswap.org. The beat is under the Public Domain, so it's legal.
