Remix of go1dfish for winter ‘13 February’s Fortune Secret Mixter.
After several exploratory remix attempts, I kept coming back to go1dfish’s fantastic and extended Absolutely Clear solo-slash-vamp. So, I decided to tonally build around it, adding supportive bass lines and riffs using either goldfish’s guitar uploads or my synths. I liked how the sleeperspaceborn vocals added textural and melodic variety, while being so processed, the overall track did not stray far from having an instrumental feel and highlighting the Absolutely Clear guitar. In some revision of the remix, there was a C bridge-ish section, which slowly shrunk into the few punchy measures that are driven by wayside drive’s sweet bassline. Definitely going to work with go1dfish samples more.
