I've Been Waiting At My Door
The female backup are the words “forever” cut from TCOE’s Forever Mine and repitched into a minor third harmony.
Searching for a beat, found a neo-soul drum track in our library that fit well but sounded thin. Copperhead’s Another Drum Track fit well delivering about the same rhythm as the neo-soul beat. Unfortunately, the snare wires on bottom snare drum head and the crash cymbals were pumping in the mix at low volume. Replaced all drums hits in the neo-soul beat with one shot drum hits including copperheads hi-hats from Another Drum Track and a snare and open hi-hat from the FFED track.

Editorial pick“I’ve been Waiting At My Door” is one of those songs that reminds me of the hits you heard in the ’70s. A blend of Eagles, a touch of Bob Dylan and a whole lot of soul. Mana Junkie
