Trap Scratch Fever
It’s a Good Day … for genre jumping Key: C minor Continuing the journey to explore new genres (maybe sub-genres??), decided to try a trap beat. What’s a trap beat? Don’t know. Is it a pop beat with asynchronicity applied to some of the hihat beats and with some cool melodic synthesizer lines? We skipped the cool melodic trap synth passages. But, I was diggin’ ‘em so maybe next time. Noticed that rapping is a common vocal over trap beats, so we’re victimizing one of our fave ccmixter vocalizers, Donnie Ozone.
