A Very Busy Day

I struggled with this one- tried to pair a bass line that, no matter what I did, just would not merge with Bill Ray’s enthusiastic drumming. It was supposed to be a slapped together, loose jam for Fat Tuesday. I gave myself two weeks to finish it. Three months later, this’ll have to do ‘cause I’m done.
Martijn de Boer graciously agreed to record a variation of his Heist Loop. The horns are from FireFace Music and MSLP. My friend Suresh played the banjo, and the clarinet is from a commercial loop library.
