A poignant poem from Kathy Brocks. I thought her poem should be preserved in its entirety with no edits, so I worked the music around it.
First time listening to her words, I felt a little discomforted. Maybe there’s something inherently uncomfortable/ taboo in discussing about the topic of child sex abuse. And maybe that’s why abusers tend to get away with it. All the more the need to speak of it.
