Recorded this set of vocals for a upcoming ccM remix (which will be uploaded in a day or two). The lyrics are adapted from Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
Sung in the key of ‘A’ (if you can call this singing). I recorded this in the quiet of night, and mindful of not waking my wife or the neighbours in the apartment block. Realised, belatedly, my pronunciation of “not” sounded like “nut”. I’m sorry if ole Shakespeare is feeling restless in his grave. +++++++++++++++ To be, or not to be: that is the question: For in that sleep of death what dreams may come To be, or not to be: that is the question: When we have shuffled off this mortal coil, To be, or not to be: that is the question: That makes calamity of so long life; To be, or not to be: that is the question: For who would bear the whips and scorns of time, To be, or not to be: that is the question: That patient merit of the unworthy takes, To be, or not to be: that is the question: The oppressor’s wrong, the proud man’s contumely, To be, or not to be: that is the question. +++++++++++++++
