There was a time when a song writers demo meant sitting in some outside office for hours on end hoping to get to hand your cassette to someone who might just listen. If you really cared you’d take along a pianist and the sheet music. Not so long ago, I’ve done it!!

You stood a better chance if it was a love song as protest songs of any description were still very much a no no to most A & R men.

All this came to mind when I was messing about with some of the great piano pieces by Rob Costlow.

The songs a bit rough vocal wise but the sentiments 100%

AND!! before LS asks yes I did do the vocal in the bathroom but its the trousers up version!!
