this is a poem i wrote not too long ago, i thought it would be interesting to try and sing the poem as a song.

here are the lyrics:
standing behind you
looking in the mirror
my hands holding
the one i hold dear

the shapes of your body
enticing my mind
words can’t define
how you seem to stop time

i don’t wanna go
but time it ticks on
and draws me away
oh i wish i could stay
