Soooo….that was an exciting moment, when I drew the Admiral. Cause Bob means guitarheaven on ccmmixter, you will hardly find anyone better. And being a guitarero myself I instantely thought about jamming a duo with Bob. But as I started to listen to his pellas and tracks again, I realized that the Admiral has the Blues, but not me. And to have the Blues or to have not the Blues might be a question. A question of feeling in your fingertips. And a question if you can let your guitar sing or not. For my part I played in too many Eurostyle New Wave Bands. My guitar is more like a keyboard. There is hardly any blues in there.
So I decided to leave the stage for Admiral Bob, play a rhythm guitar and some new wave bassline, and to rather take care of things like how to add the synths and to overdub Bill Rays wonderful drums with electionic 80ies zztop fills. And so the Admiral sounds a bit like Gary More when he shows, that he still got the Blues for us.
