This is a tune I’ve been working on slowly just for the fun of it for almost a two-year period.
When I initially heard these vocals, they made me instantly think of Denny “Blazin” Hazen’s ‘Average Homeboy’, so I had to whip up a similar beat. Beefed that up with a self-made Casio SK1 loop, cut up (and effected) a few samples on top and finalized the elements by playing in a bassline from Access Virus B (no quantization applied). Call it groove or whatever, not that the plain beat has any ;)
